Chapter 4 - Venue & Timing

If there is no special reason to arrive earlier, we usually

arrive 2 hours before the ceremony. During this time we will:

-do a quick briefing with the wp and/or venue manager

- check up on the ceremony setting with the florist

-follow bride's make-up and hair progress

-groom’s dress-up moments with groomsmen

-still life and flat lay shots of details and stationery

-bridal shower shots

-bride dress-up moment

-some intimate formals with mum and/or dad

-if requested: first look/kiss/touch/hug

Please remember it is essential to stay on time so be sure

you calculate the right timing with the wp.

Also very important to know: spring weddings have plenty of

time and you can be more relaxed, sunset is around 8.45pm, but

in September/October days are much shorter.

If we do not know the venue we may do a site inspection to

find perfect spots for the best lighting (family/couple photos).

Also if the wp is not sure about the ceremony set in terms

of light, we’ll be happy to give a technical opinion on it.
